Cleaning tanks in a dairy produces hot steam which causes paintwork to flake. To solve this problem, Hygi Panel®’s wall panels are made of woven fibreglass and polyester resin with a gel coating which is particularly moisture-resistant.
Hygi Panel®’s wall cladding is unaffected by chemical agents: this is important in a dairy, because the steam generated by the tank-cleaning process contains a high percentage of caustic soda which, like the enzymes and acids in milk, can cause surface corrosion.
The manufacturing process for our wall panels includes our antibacterial Clean Active technology. With its antibacterial effect, it prevents the formation of biofilms and bacterial growth. Furthermore, germs and dirt can’t stick to the perfectly smooth surface of our cladding, making cleaning much quicker and easier.
